Mickey is going really well. Has bursts of energy here and there. Went on a walk this morning (carried most of the way) and loved being out.

New pain relief in full swing, not as hungry as he has been, not his usual self, however a schmacko still goes down a treat. Hoping it gets easier from here on in.

Toughest day so far. Woke up pretty well, as the day went on noticed more bruising away from the site of the operation. Vet trip last night and possible reaction to pain meds which is causing extra bruising. A lot more unsettled during the afternoon and night and has to be closely monitored for any changes. Still wants to eat and have cuddles.  Only way is up from here. His brother Hamish is very concerned, and you can see it in the way he acts around him. Any advice on what to expect in the coming days will be wonderful!

We are home. A little bruised, a little teary, however walking around a little bit and getting his land legs back.

operation a success. Bone shattered when being removed, best decision we ever made.

So sad seeing our little man in so much pain.

Comes home tomorrow 😊
